Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a translation cost?
Every project is unique, so we tailor pricing to reflect your actual needs. Factors like document length, format, legibility, and required turnaround time can affect cost. We ask specific questions upfront so there are no surprises—just fair, transparent pricing. Certified translations start at $55 CAD, and we always aim to provide the best value for your timeline and budget.
How long does a translation take?
Most standard documents are completed within 2 business day. For longer, complex, or specialized materials, we’ll provide a clear timeline upfront. Rush service and same-day delivery are also available for eligible documents. Whatever your deadline, our team will guide you through a timeline that meets your needs—without compromising quality.
What is a Certified Translation and do I need it?
In Canada, a certified translation is completed by a Certified Translator—a member in good standing of a provincial association recognized by the Canadian Translators, Terminologists and Interpreters Council (CTTIC). Certified translations include the translator’s signed declaration, their provincial membership ID, and seal on each page. If you're submitting to IRCC, CIC, CRA, Passport Canada, ServiceOntario, or a consulate, you’ll almost always need a certified translation to ensure your documents are accepted.
Can you handle urgent or same-day translations?
Yes. We offer same-day and rush services for eligible documents. If you’re working with a tight deadline—for example, immigration interviews, last-minute legal filings, or licence applications—just let us know. We’ll confirm if we can deliver on time and provide you with an accurate quote, fast.
Do you offer editing or proofreading of existing translations?
Yes, we do—but with an important caveat. If the original translation was not done by a certified translator, we may need to retranslate portions (or all) of the document to meet official standards. If your document simply needs updates, edits, or doesn’t need to be certified, we’re happy to help—just send us a copy so we can advise on the best approach.
Are your translations certified?
Absolutely. All certified translations are completed by Canadian-certified translators, registered with provincial associations such as STIBC, ATIO, OTTIAQ, ATIS, ATINS and others. Our translations are accepted by Immigration Canada (IRCC), CRA, Passport Canada, Provincial Ministries, Consulates, and Courts. You can be confident your documents will meet the required standards—we’ve never had a translation rejected in over 15 years.
Attention: Agencies are NOT certified, only Certified Translators are. So don’t fall prey to agencies pretending to be certified. You can trust our Team of Canadian-Certified Translators.
